Please read the following points carefully as use of our website and purchase of products by you, mean that you agree to them. These terms and conditions give details of the levels of service we will provide you.
Shopping online at oneposter.com
You can order products displayed on this website using the secure shopping cart provided. Once you have placed an order we will send you an e-mail confirming that we have received your order. The email confirmation will be produced automatically so that you have confirmation of your order details. The fact that you receive an automatic confirmation does not necessarily mean that we will be able to meet your order.
To make a purchase at Oneposter.com you are required to become a registered user. When registering you must provide a valid and operational email address and telephone number where you can be contacted so we can keep you informed about the status of your order.
Protecting our customers against fraud
To protect our customers from credit and debit card fraud we reserve the right to cancel an order where (1) the customer uses a credit or debit card which is issued by a card provider based in a country other than the delivery address provided by the customer, or (2) the customer doesn't provide the additional information we request to verify their identity and address within five days, or (3) the customer pays for a high value transaction using an unverified Paypal account, or (4) any of the contact details the customer provides during the registration process turn out to be false, or (5) a mail server returns any confirmation email message we send to you. In all such cases we will refund the full pounds sterling amount paid.
The price of individual products can change on the site without notice, however the price of the item displayed once you reach the checkout is the price you will be charged. You will be notified of the delivery costs automatically, as part of the shopping cart, before you submit your credit card details. All transactions carried out through the website are made in Pounds Sterling. The US Dollar and Euro prices shown on the site are purely there as a guide for non-UK customers. Your credit or debit card will be charged in Pounds Sterling.
You can pay by any Visa, MasterCard, American Express or JCB credit card, by Switch/Maestro, Solo, Visa Electron or Visa Delta/Debit card (for UK based versions of these 2 cards accepted only), using Paypal or by cheque (in pound sterling). To ensure that shopping online is secure, your credit/debit details will be encrypted to minimise the possibility of someone being able to read your details as they are sent to us over the Internet.
Delivery of orders
We deliver goods to most destinations worldwide. Most orders are dispatched within one to four working days although in certain circumstances (for example if an item you have ordered is out of stock and we are waiting for new supplies or during Christmas) you should allow 30 days for delivery – you will be notified immediately if your order is to be delayed. If, for whatever reason, we are unable to deliver your goods to you within 30 days we will contact you and organise another date for delivery or offer you a refund.
We are not liable for any loss caused to you by late delivery. As part of the shipping process an email is sent to you when your goods are dispatched from our warehouse. This email will give you a guide to when your goods will be delivered.
It is your responsibility as the customer to ensure that someone is available at the delivery address you provide when your order is delivered. If your order is returned to us by the carrier because they couldn't deliver the goods or because you didn't arrange to collect your order from their offices you will be required to pay an additional postage and administration charge before we resend your goods. You will also be required to pay a second postage charge in cases where you supplied an incorrect or incomplete delivery address initially. If you choose to cancel your order rather than have it delivered a second time you will receive a full refund.
Returns policy - damaged or incorrect goods
If you wish to return an item to us that is damaged, which you did not order, or for any other reason where the responsibility rests with us, you must contact us prior to sending it back so we can make arrangements to either refund you the purchase price or replace the damaged/wrong items. Customers wishing to report a damaged or incorrect order can do so by emailing us or phoning our customer service line on 01263 71 34 17 (Mon-Fri 9am-5pm GMT/BST).
Please do not return items to us without having contacted us in advance. We will contact you to let you know what to do with the goods that you wish to return to us. In most cases we shall give you a freepost address to return them to us.
When returning items you will be responsible for them until they reach us. For your own protection, we suggest obtaining at least a proof of posting from the post office and making a copy of invoice as your proof of purchase.
Returns policy - if you change your mind
We believe that you will be delighted with your products but there may be occasions when you want to return your order after we have dispatched your goods to you.
If you want to return your order, within 14 days of having received your goods, you should fill out the returns form on the reverse of the invoice you received with your order, and return the goods to us along with the form. When returning items you will be responsible for them until they reach us. For your own protection, we suggest you use a secure delivery method that requires a signature upon delivery when returning items. We can only accept unspoiled items in their original packaging as returns. This does not affect your statutory rights as a consumer.
Please note we can not accept returns on posters or prints and underwear, swimwear, jewellery (such as earrings) and cosmetics for hygiene reasons.
In addition to our returns policy
Under the United Kingdom's Distance Selling Regulations you have seven working days (beginning the day after receipt) to cancel your purchase from us (which you should inform us of in writing), for a full refund. This does not apply to items that cannot be returned (posters or prints and underwear, swimwear, jewellery (such as earrings) and cosmetics for hygiene reasons). In this case we will provide you with a full refund but we would ask you to return the cancelled items at your cost. If we do not receive the cancelled items back, we may arrange to have them collected at your cost. If your order has already shipped, you will need to return the order to us.
We will not be responsible for any losses resulting from your misuse or your inability to use our website or resulting from unauthorized access to, or alteration of your transmissions or data in circumstances which are beyond our control. We will not be responsible for your loss of profits, wasted expenditure, corruption or destruction of data or any other loss which does not directly result from something we have done wrong.
Our website contains links to other websites which are not under the control of and are not maintained by us. These links are provided for your convenience only and we are not responsible for the content of those sites.
We may change or withdraw any part of our website, or may refuse you access to the website at any time if we consider it necessary. The laws of England and Wales govern these terms and only the courts of England and Wales will decide any disputes.
